Dear Parent, Carer or Friend of St. Ambrose Barlow, I am sure that, like our staff, you have been deeply affected by the terrible events in Manchester city centre. As a school community we are fortunate that although some pupils and staff were present at the concert, all are alive and well. Our staff have provided as much support as possible to young people who are upset by recent events and we will continue to do so over the coming days. On Tuesday we said prayers as a staff and in each form group in memory of those killed and injured and as a gesture of solidarity with all affected by the attack.

Visitors Parking and the Local Community

St Ambrose Barlow RC High School & Sixth Form College has always worked very closely with the local community in order to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship and minimise the impact of unsocial behaviour by our pupils as rare as it may be.

We also accept that on occasions we may have staff and visitors who could be more considerate in the manner in which they park on the surrounding streets and roads.

In order that we may continue to have the support of our local community and especially those within the immediate vicinity of the school, we ask that all staff and visitors ensure that their parking is considerate and does not become a nuisance to our neighbours.

If you wish to request a paper copy of any information on our school website this will be provided free of charge.
