Students at St Ambrose Barlow Sixth Form have been giving up their time to volunteer at Disabled Living, a charity based in Worsley that provides impartial information on equipment and services for disabled adults, children, and older people in the community.

The students have been helping with a mail out of free tickets to one of the 'Kidz to Adultz' events organised by Disabled Living - exhibitions totally dedicated to children with disabilities and additional needs, their parents, carers and professionals.

A spokesperson from Disabled Living said: “As part of our work we also organise five of the largest free, UK events supporting children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs up to 25 years, their families, carers and the professionals who support them. These free events offer visitors access to over 100 exhibitors showcasing the most up to date information on equipment, products and services with a full programme of free CPD and topical seminars running alongside each event. A massive Thank You must go to the students from St Ambrose Barlow Sixth Form, Swinton who gave up their time on Wednesday afternoons to help with the recent Kidz to Adultz Wales visitors free entry ticket mail out. Their support has helped us to build awareness of these free events to all those who may benefit from attending.”
