Uniform
The little things matter. By showing that you can take responsibility for your appearance and by being prepared for school you show us that you are serious about your education. Getting the little things right means taking small steps to bigger successes.

We aim to keep the cost of our school uniform as low as possible and to help families when the expense of the school day is an issue. Our school uniform is available from Whittaker’s in Swinton, but most items can be purchased from supermarkets or other retailers to reduce cost. Molly’s in Walkden also provide some items, but no longer offer our blazers and ties.

Parents or carers can choose to purchase the school badge separately and sew this onto a plain, black blazer – this may help to reduce cost. It is possible to purchase some second-hand uniform and kit from the school and we can also signpost families to financial support and organisations who can help with the cost of living. We review the cost of our school uniform each year and work with local suppliers to keep costs down.
Halo Hair Code

We believe that difference and diversity should be celebrated and protected. This is an important part of our Catholic Mission. We have adopted the Halo Hair Code to protect students and staff who come to school with natural hair and protective hairstyles associated with their racial, ethnic, and cultural identities. You can read the code here: https://halocollective.co.uk/halo-school/

Uniform List

All pupils must wear the following items unless indicated as optional. Please note that all of these items are all year round – we do not currently operate winter and summer uniforms.
Pupils are expected to wear a coat, but this should be removed on entry to the building. Hats must not be worn in school and should be removed on entry. Hats and coats if worn inside can make it harder to identify pupils and therefore present a safeguarding concern .

PE Kit

All pupils taking part in PE must wear the following unless indicated as optional and these items should be carried in an appropriate bag. Pupils should also bring a towel with them for PE changing. Please note that all of these items are all year round – we do not currently operate winter and summer PE kits.
